Field Trips

Field trips are a part of our 4 Year Old program.  It is necessary for all transportation to be provided by the parents.  We rely on parent volunteers to drive and chaperone our students on any class trip.  Signed permission slips are required for each trip.  All parents are welcome to join the trips; hpwever, siblings are not permitted to attend.  More information will be provided by each individual classroom teacher as the trips are planned and scheduled.

Fire Drills

Regularly scheduled fire drills are conducted to familiarize the students with emergency exit procedures.  Instructions are posted in each classroom.  Students are to maintain silence and proceed quickly, quietly, and in an orderly manner to ensure the safety of the entire school community.  In the event of a bomb scare, the fire drill route will be followed to evacuate the building.  For an emergency tornado watch, students will remain in the building, but far away from windows.

Health and Safety

A child's welfare is of greatest importance to us.  Parents will be notified in case of illness or accident during the school day.

Health and immunization records are required for each child.  Also, an emergency telephone number is required in case parents can't be reached.  Parents must notify us if there is a change in any information or in the emergency telephone numbers that we keep on file.

An authorized drop-off list is also required.
