Pre-School Handbook

Behavior Policy

Children will be guided to learn that the rules of their school and individual classrooms are for the good of every child.  They will learn:

1.     Respect for others and to be considerate to others
2.     To obey those in authority
3.     Respect and care for school property and the personal property of other students

Birthdays

Birthdays are very special to a young child.  Parents may help us celebrate by bringing in a treat for the class to be eaten at snack time (cupcakes, cookies, brownies, or donut munchkins would be nice).  Parents must let their child's teacher know of their plans a few days in advance.

CARES (Children Are Receiving Extended Services)

The AM and PM CARES/Enrichment program is available only to children registered in OLHC Pre-School programs.  The After-School program is available to both pre-school and elementary students of OLHC.  CARES is not available on school holidays or snow days and runs from September to June.

Parents should notify the Pre-School office as soon as possible if their child will be a "drop-in".  We will then be able to notify you inform you if there is room for your child to attend on that day.
