Officers
President - Presides at all meetings of the association and of the
Executive Board; shall appoint special committees and shall be an Ex-officio member of all committees and shall receive notice of all
meetings.
Vice-President - Shall perform President's duties when President is
absent; shall assume the duties of that office until the next election
if the office of the President becomes vacant; and shall assume the
office of President after one year of service as Vice-President.
Recording Secretary - Shall keep a minute book showing a true and
accurate record ofall meetings of the association and of the Executive Board.
Corresponding Secretary - Shall send notices of regular meetings to
members prior to said meetings and correspondence as required.
Committees
School Committee - Coordinates all volunteer programs
Publicity Committee - Publicizes school functions in local papers and
church bulletin: Pictures and write up. Maintains school Bulletin
Board in church.
Programs Committee - Create and run social activities.
Membership Committee - Collect dues from members of the Home and School;
compile and print Home and School Member Directory.
Hospitality Committee - Solicit volunteers to provide and serve
refreshments at Home and School functions and special events. (Organize
setup, clean up, and serving crews)
Ways and Means Committee - Run various fundraisers throughout the school
year. |
