School Handbook

X. TUITION

Tuition notices are sent out by the rectory office. Payment must be made directly to the rectory. At least one-half of the total tuition bill is due before the opening of school. Any remainder is due before the start of the second semester. Special arrangements for the payment of tuition can be made only by and with the pastor’s approval. All matters regarding tuition should be directed to the rectory office (215-886-3456), not the school office.

Y. VISITORS

Visitors are most welcome by appointment to OLHC. To arrange for a visit, visitors should contact the school office for an appointment.

Parents coming to school to bring forgotten articles or to relay messages should come to the school office. Classes may not be disturbed for these reasons. Parents may not confer with a teacher or visit a classroom between the hours of 8:45 AM and 3:15 PM unless the Principal gives permission for such a visit.

All visitors must report to the school office and sign in the Visitor’s Log when entering the building. An atmosphere of quiet respect for the learning rights of others should prevail throughout the school building.

Z. VOLUNTEERS

The assistance of parent volunteers is greatly appreciated and encouraged. We recognize the invaluable assistance given by our student’s families, which helps in building a strong learning community. Volunteers assist in some of the following ways:

Teachers Aides Nurse’s Office Aides

Homeroom Mothers Extracurricular Activities Aides

Parents are urged to take an active part in their child’s education by volunteering whenever and wherever possible. A volunteer form will be sent home in the family envelope at the beginning of the year for those parents or family members that would like to share their time and talents with us.

Every student is expected to show courtesy and respect to all volunteers.
