A. ADMISSIONS

In compliance with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Office of Catholic Education, Our Lady Help of Christians School, mindful of its primary mission as an effective instrument of the educational ministry of the Church and the witness to the love of Christ for all men, will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies and other school-administered programs.

A student who is six years old by September 1st is eligible for first grade. The age for admission to kindergarten should be one year less than that of the first grade. Pre-K3 and Pre-K4

must be the required age by September 1st of the current year. Children must be fully toilet-trained. The necessary forms and certificates for admission are:

              1. Birth Certificate.
              2. Baptismal certificate (regardless of home parish).
              3. A certificate of immunization that must be updated and available for checking and
                  confirming. This includes: diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis (oral/inactive), measles
                 (rubella) and hepatitis.

B. ASSEMBLIES

The primary purpose of school assemblies is educational. Being part of an appreciative audience is a learning experience; therefore, every student is expected to show proper respect and courtesy at this time
